Blounts Creek community is approximately 12Mi East of Chocowinity, The locus is often though of as the intersect of Rt33 and Flat Swamp/Core Point Rd at Cox Cross Roads but it covers a fairly wide area stretching
from east of Hodges stretch to West of Edward bounded by the Pamlico River to the North and Craven County to the South.
